O: Duoderm over cere coming off, wound completely healed underneath. Carpal bumpers both in place, left alone. Scab over both distal metacarpals, applied dermagel. Rhinotheca very long at tip and on sides. Sides starting to flare out. Coped but was not able to fully restore shape due to amount of flaring. Moved to MM3

A: Wounds seem to be healing. Beak very overgrown on sides and will likely need a follow up coping to finish removing flared sides. Fat but will likely start burning more calories as starts exercising.

P: Exercise daily. Weigh again in 1 week. Cope beak again in 2 weeks

O: Brought inside for treatment. Scabs still present on both metacarpals. Applied carpal bumpers to both wings. Scabs still present on cere and L suborbital ridge. Applied duoderm patch to cere. Both feet are only slightly pink and a little dirty from food. Cleaned feet and applied small amount of prep H. Coped beak. Took back outside and bucket cleaned and replaced water. SF 37g of rat in AM. No leftovers.

A: Patient still has scabes present on both carpals and head. Scabs appear to be fairly static compared to last checks. Feet look good. Beak is now at an appropriate length. Talons were fine and did not need trimming. Weight down a little, but bird is at a fat body condition. BAR.
Weight change:  -15 g (6 %)

P: Monitor carpal bandages and cere patch. Weigh again in 2 weeks.

Placed in cage in back room and dropped 34g squirrel.

A: Wounds appear identiacal to photos from last week. No signs of frostbite. Beak is long on sides and should be coped before bird moves back outside.

O: Caught and weighed. Checked for lesions in mouth- NSF. Noted discoloration on digits and plantar pads of both feet and hocks. Took photos. Brought inside and cleaned feet thoroughly with dilute chlorhex, then applied prep H to both feet and hocks. Noted small carpal wounds on both wings plus wounds at the distal end of the carpus on the L wing- took photos. Cleaned lightly with chlorhex and applied a small amount of dermagel before putting back outside. Dropped 38 g of rat. 
Weight change:  -19 g (7 %)

A: BAR. According to KK, the pt's feet are very similar to others in the past that have gotten a brown fungus build up on the feet due to changes in humidity and prey blood sticking to their feet. Weight is down a significant amount and pt is not scrapping, so we can increase food and reweigh to make sure it's enough.

P: Weigh in 7D and recheck feet. Clean with chlorhex and apply prep H as necessary to feet and hocks. Increase food by 5 g.

O: Removed ends of 4 broken feathers, just handing on by loose strangs.  White lesion noted under tongue, not able to be removed easily.  Small scab on lateral aspect of LD4 and small raised scale over R foot.

S: Standing with head drooped down to chest. Went to perch and flared when put back.

O: Took weight. Checked vitals. Collected blood and fecal. R medial metatarsal vein blew a lot. as soon as needle was pulled out. Noted some bruising over abdomen. Gave fluids. SF 25g of rat in AM. Retrieved 16g of scrap.

Fluids: 9.80 cc (LRS) SQ

A: Patient was acting sad for catch, but acted normal after treatment. Vitals were all normal. Blood values WNL. Patient appears to be doing okay.
Weight change:  -4 g (2 %)
